DESIGN PROCEDURE

Custom Design Procedure:

Custom projects begin with an exchange of ideas, in person, or by phone, sometimes with an Interior Designer already on the job, or directly with an individual client, who may or may not require a designer.

Relevant design elements, colours, and the client's creative vision, are my starting point for custom projects; photos of my previous work are also a useful catalyst.

Back in the studio, I will produce some working drawings and colourways, illustrating examples of how I envision the project.

In some cases a fee is charged for sketches. When sketches are approved, I schedule the project, subject to a 50% deposit from the client which then confirms my time allocation for the project.
